News to Soak Up

October saw us wrap up a massive campaign with our GE client and one of their retail partners. The promotion required meticulous coordination on everything from design to production to fulfillment. The campaign as a whole involved more than half a million items being shipped to 1,200 locations across the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Philippines.

While we’re normally never ones to toot our own horns, a “toot toot” just seems appropriate here. We’ve just added two more achievements to our collection of minority-owned business awards and certifications. On October 25 we were honored by the Collin County Business Press and Capital One as a recipient in their annual Celebration of Enterprise awards. More recently, we received an additional Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) certificate from the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC).

On the Web side of things, we’ve recently launched with our friends at Cancer Support Community Central Texas. The CSCCT homepage is the premier online destination for individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Check out today to learn how you can lend a hand in the fight against cancer in Central Texas.

QR CodeLook familiar? It’s called a quick response, or QR, code. They’re starting to appear all over the place these days; in ads, on posters and even on some packaging. But what exactly do they do? With the influx of smart phones with scanning capability, QR codes can drive traffic to a company’s website and help quickly transmit important information to consumers, from pricing to nutritional facts.

Have you ever scanned a QR code? You may have done so just to reach this page. Do you think QR codes are effective in helping companies interact with consumers? Does the QR code have major potential in consumer engagement? Head over to our LinkedIn page to discuss the rise of the QR code with some of our clients and other professionals!
